Padma Mudra
Padma Mudra - for a beautiful heart ....the Gesture of the lotus flower. Padma means “ Lotus”. This mudra encourages us to see through the eyes of the heart in order to respond with
empathy and compassion rather than judgment or reaction. It also helps us in welcoming emotions so that they can be processed and released with ease
Some of the many benefits of this practice include:
- Supports the health of the cardio, respiratory and immune systems
- Cultivates compassion, empathy and love
- is helpful with conditions such as anxiety and depression
- and of Course it opens and balances our heart chakra
Place the palms of the hands together in front of the heart. Keep the base of the palms together, with the thumbs and the little fingers joined, while spreading the other fingers wide, like an
unfolding flower. Sit in stillness and focus your energy on your heart center, your Anahata Chakra. Taking Padma Mudra Holding this mudra at your Anahata Chakra to elevate and focus your hearts
energy.
